Greed 02:30
Greed. There's nothing less noble to me. It's the gravity holding us down. They took all the rafts from the docks for a day when it rains knowing kids in the water will drown. "We're just one of you, you can do it" they smile, pointing out all the ways that our lives parallel, then suck out the marrow from inside the earth and relax while they bet on us fighting ourselves. Greed. Their cups overfloweth with fluid their bodies will vomit back up. If wealth trickles down from the top to the people that need it, then romance is 2 Girls 1 Cup. How much can they fit in their fists before their knuckles turn white, when we realise they've taken too much? How long will we sit with our hands held up over our eyes, how long will we be so out of touch? If you're going to put profit over people, we're going to put tape over your mouth. It's a little bit more than just unequal, the majority's short on our amount. They know we know they've gone too far, but they think we won't act. A million seconds won't get you past two weeks, but a billion is older than me. Don't let all the language we use confuse their abuse, because to them all your labour is free. I'd tell you to wake the fuck up, but you already have - yeah, you've known it inside all along. You're not one of them, and they'll never take over our lives, because we know what they're doing is wrong. If you're going to put profit over people, we're going to put tape over your mouth. It's a little bit more than just unequal, the majority's short on our amount. They know we know they've gone too far, but they think we won't act. They say everything is a thing that they need, but to you and to me it's just greed.
